On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
4 festive letters
3 photo shoots
A 2 piece no-sew blanket
And a new spot for our Christmas tree
Here’s a festive DIY display made using materials from the dollar store.
I used:
- Wooden craft dowels
- Twine
- A branch wreath
- A wooden letter ‘E’
- Paint
- Shelf brackets
For the N, I attached 3 wooden dowels using twine. I also painted the tips of the dowels to tie into the E.
For the O, I used a pre-made branch wreath that was painted gold.
For the E, I used a wooden craft letter that I painted white. Once the paint was applied, I wiped it down with a paper towel to give it more of a ‘worn-in’ look.
For the L, I used metal shelf brackets that were wrapped with twine to give them a rustic feel.
Super easy to pull this DIY together and only cost $6. Great for holiday decorations on a budget!
Tomorrow is a bit of a busy day for us so I may not get around to posting about Day 5 until Sunday. Stay tuned and enjoy your weekend!
