On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
With Christmas quickly approaching, L has been working hard to ensure her list for Santa is just right.
Here’s what she’s hoping for and here’s how I did with finding the items for cheap:
1. A Lalaloopsy doll
I don’t know what the appeal is with these dolls. We never watch the show at home (or read any of the books) and they kinda creep me out. L wanted one though and I lucked into finding one at a consignment shop for $8.50. I couldn’t believe my luck considering these dolls retail for about $40!
2. A hockey stick
This one is definitely M’s influence. We found a floor hockey stick at Canadian Tire for $6.99. The price was right so we also got one for E so they wouldn’t fight over it. Santa is also bringing the girls a net to use with the sticks 🙂
3. The Little Mermaid DVD
I got this on sale at Amazon for $27. The movie was on tv just this past weekend and thankfully L love it! We also got the Little Mermaid Duplo to go with it!
4 Pink and purple trains
I got a wooden train set at a warehouse toy sale a couple months ago for $11. The trains aren’t pink and purple though so I may have some painting to do 🙂
5. Fuzzy socks
It really is about the simple things in life! I found fuzzy socks in the discount section at Target just yesterday. Can’t go wrong for $1 a pair!
