Happy Valentine’s Day & Key Chains for the Kiddos

I apologize to anyone who is seeing this post for the second time.  I prematurely posted this morning with only half a post and no images.  Sorry!

That being said… Happy Valentine’s Day!

This year, L was very excited to pick out cards from the movie Frozen.  This movie is her current obsession.  She knows the characters, sings the songs, and would watch it everyday if she could!  To be honest with you, I probably wouldn’t complain if this were the case.  It is a cute movie with some amazing music… “Do you want to build a snowman?”

Anyway, in addition to handing out cards at daycare, I engaged my dear friend Queenie to make something fun for the kiddos.

Queenie makes greeting cards (Queenie’s Cards) but she is quickly expanding her business.  Her website is currently under construction but be sure to check it out when it’s up and running!  In the interim, you can visit her blog: https://queeniescards.wordpress.com

The latest additions to her product line are pins and key chains.  She used her cute illustrations to mock up some personalized key chains for the kids.

Penguins for the girls, owls for the boys and dogs for the teachers

Key chains for 3 year olds may not seem all that practical but I’ve decided to re-purpose them as zipper pulls!  Perfect for little fingers to grab and assist with their independence.

I may have just set the bar high for Valentine’s treats… hopefully by next year Queenie has some new kid-friendly products I can use 🙂

  1. Those are so cute! And althought I’m not a toddler, I too replaced the broken zipper pull on my winter coat with a key chain! Happy Valentine’s Day!
