Kitchen Coffee Station

I am happy to report that all of the items from my Thanksgiving to-do list have officially been crossed off.  Woo-hoo!  Here’s to being productive on a day off!

The first project I’m going to share with you is the coffee station I set up in the kitchen.

I’ve been using the Bygel Utility Cart from Ikea in the kitchen for over a year now.  While I love the functionality and the extra storage space, I always felt like it was in the way in our very small kitchen.  My solution for this was to move it to the other side of the kitchen and repurpose it as a coffee cart.

The top shelf holds our electric kettle and Tassimo and while not related to coffee, also our knife block.

The second shelf is home to my fave pretty coffee mugs (from Target a good 6 years ago) and a basket (from the thrift store) for storing our T-discs.

The bottom shelf is great for us to store larger and bulky items (like paper towel and cases of pop) which don’t fit in out teeny pantry.

What do you guys think?
